Nau mai, haere mai
Inspired by nature, dedicated to your growth.
An independent Pōneke/Wellington based therapy clinic that specialises in working with attachment, trauma and mental health distress across all ages.
Our name, Nīkau Mental Health, is inspired by the nīkau palm. As Aotearoa’s only native palm, the nīkau grows slowly yet steadily and is known for its resilience and ability to flourish in challenging conditions. We chose this name because it reflects our hope for your therapy journey; that you find a safe shelter to support your mental health. Like the nīkau, we believe that strength can emerge through adversity and that meaningful change is built one step at a time.
